My name is Elaina Aceves and I am a teaching postdoc at the University of Utah. I am dedicated to creating a welcoming and collaborative learning environment for all my students to help them understand the beauty and complexity of math!

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics in 2014 and a Masters of Arts in Mathematics with the Traditional Track option in 2016 under the advisement of Dr. Carmen Caprau at California State University, Fresno (Fresno State). I received a Master of Science in Mathematics in 2018 and I also completed the Graduate Certificate in College Teaching and Certificate in Online Teaching through the College of Education at the University of Iowa. I received my PhD in Mathematics in May 2022 from the University of Iowa under the advisement of Dr. Keiko Kawamuro.
